Background

Wholesalers today face challenges in managing and accessing sales reports quickly and efficiently. To support operational effectiveness, wholesalers need a system that can provide real-time sales reports that can be accessed via cellphone. This report includes information regarding daily sales reports, sales reports per item category, stock reports per item category, online and offline order reports, and active receivables reports. With this system, it is hoped that wholesalers can more easily carry out analysis and make the right decisions in managing their business.

Understanding the Problem space

For affiliates user, keeping product information up-to-date is a critical challenge. Stock levels often fluctuate due to high sales velocity, while pricing needs to reflect promotional offers, dynamic market conditions, and local tax regulations. Affiliates frequently face:

  1. Time Delays: Manual updates of stock and pricing lead to delays, resulting in potential lost sales or customer dissatisfaction.

  1. Inconsistencies: Discrepancies in stock and pricing information can damage customer trust and lead to order cancellations.

  1. Scalability Issues: As affiliates grow their product catalog, existing manual or semi-automated systems struggle to handle the increased complexity.

Defining Success & Project Goal

  • This Daily Sales Graph is in the form of a Line Chart. This graph will inform you of Sales for the current month. To view sales details for each invoice, you can click View Details. Invoice Details will display Order Information, Customer Information, and Payment Information.

  • Streamline Pricing Adjustments: Offer flexible tools to adjust prices quickly while adhering to parent company policies.

  • Provide Real-Time Insights: Deliver actionable analytics, such as low-stock alerts and pricing performance metrics, to help affiliates make informed decisions.

Design Challenge

  • How Might We Design a mass stock and price change feature for an e-commerce affiliate platform that simplifies bulk updates, minimizes errors, and ensures seamless synchronization with the parent company's inventory system.

Performance metrics and graphics: Charts that show affiliate’s store perfomance

  • Revenue Summary: Shows total revenue by day, weeks, and month, and

  • Order/ Transaction Summary: Display ongoing transaction data; waiting for payment, being processed, delivery, and complaints.

  • Filter: User can filter the store and dates

  • Top-Selling Products: Display the best-selling products by the numbers of unit sold.

Sales Summary (Ringkasan Pembelian)

The revenue summary feature of the affiliate dashboard provides an overview of the affiliate's earnings over a period of time. This feature displays the total revenue earned by the affiliate on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. It allows affiliates to track their earnings easily and make informed decisions about their promotional activities.
